Today, the company located in Biassono is well-established in the decorative and architectural lighting sector.
In 1947, Carlo Panzeri started a company specialised in manufacturing components for lamps. Its founder’s extensive technical and engineering experience, combined with his entrepreneurial spirit, set the foundations on which in the 1990s the company built its own line of lighting products. This is how the successful Panzeri Carlo Srl was born.
Carlo Panzeri’s Legacy Spans Across Generations.
Norberto, Enzo and Simonetta Panzeri, the second generation of entrepreneurs of the family, have been able to perfectly combine their father’s great legacy in terms of tradition and craftsmanship with state of the art technology. Today, the company located in Biassono is a modern firm that is obtaining increasing success in the decorative and architectural lighting sector, both in Italy and abroad. Selecting local suppliers for all main raw materials and creating products “Made in Brianza”, was a choice that time rewarded and consolidated.
Carlo’s grandchildren have already joined the family business and have become part of an innovation process that has strengthened the commercial sector and the sales network to include new markets across the borders. In 2016, the company reported a record turnover, for the third consecutive year, it opened its first branch abroad, in Munich, and launched the Russian and German version of its website. Now the focus is on new technologies: the new additions that will be presented this year will “talk” to the other objects connected to the Internet of Things (IoT).
New Company Payoff and 70th Anniversary Logo.
For its special 70th anniversary, Panzeri has come up with a celebration logo to be used in its official communications, particularly those with the media. The design of the number “70” is based on Jackie’s silhouette and the Golden Ring’s circle, the company’s two bestselling lamps. This logo will be also used at the stand at Euroluce 2017, which runs in the broader context of the Salone del Mobile.
For its anniversary, Panzeri has chosen to adopt a company payoff to show its true Brianza character, that of a company that stands out for producing beautiful, artisanal and absolutely unique objects. “We Make Light” represents perfectly this concept, expressed in English, to indicate its intention of becoming more and more international. Starting from this year, the payoff will accompany the traditional logo.
During 2017, the company’s anniversary will be remembered in communications through traditional and digital channels, on social media and at important events, such as Euroshop (5-9 March), in Düsseldorf, and Euroluce (4-9 April), in Milan.
