Brussels is one of the most congested cities in the world. For this reason, many international companies (Dimaro, DHL, Cisco, etc.) have relocated 8 km away from the Belgian capital, in the modern Pegasus Park of Diegem, a space of over 120,000 m2 situated in a prime location in terms of size and quality, accommodation facilities (there’s a 4 star hotel with 234 rooms), access, parking availability, architecture and design.
The architects Franco Artifoni and Maria Grazia Pipitone of Studio AP, partner of Ufficio 2.0 (general contractor specialized in Italian design), handled the project and the supply of design elements for the first two floors of one of Pegasus Park’s buildings. The requalification had the purpose of promoting these spaces to potential lessees. The entrance hall was completely redesigned and that is where the Silver Ring suspension and ceiling lamps are located. It was necessary to achieve a strong visual impact with the lighting, in accordance with the exterior façade of the building, entirely made of glass.
The Arpere Caimi furniture, the Interface carpet, the wooden floors and the original and colorful walls give the space a fresh and modern look.
Purpose of the intervention: requalification.
Local contractor: Tribeca Capital Partners.
